Inspired by the Forum Council, the Forum Fellowship supports education abroad professionals from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges, and Hispanic Serving Institutions.  
 
Fellows will be enrolled in The Forum’s Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program and matched with an experienced mentor. Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in one of the three following options: 

Accelerated Residency

​Meet in-person for a three-day intensive residency and attend all six of the program workshops with a cohort of colleagues in the field. The accelerated residency is hosted annually in June. Accommodations for three nights is provided as part of the fellowship. Candidates or their institutions are expected to cover the cost of travel and meals. 

 

Offered in partnership with the SIT Graduate Institute, the asynchronous course can be completed over two academic semesters (fall and spring) or one intensive summer term.

Live Virtual Workshops

Fellows will attend three live virtual workshops in the fall and three in the spring. Fellows will have the opportunity to connect during virtual office hours to discuss their assignments.  

Designed to support professional development, Fellows can expect to expand their network of colleagues and receive in-depth training on the application of the Standards of Good Practice in Education Abroad. For additional information, please email [email protected].​
