Mentored undergraduate research in global contexts, or MUR-GC, refers to the integration of three distinct : mentoring, undergraduate research, and global learning. This volume explores the power of integrating these three practices by tracing their origins and how institutions and individuals are working to create intentional learning and practice environments that integrate and amplify the benefits of each. Drawing on findings from the research, authors present a conceptual framework and design principles to guide the development of high-quality MUR-GC experiences. In addition, the volume includes guideposts and illustrations of promising practices. |
